Storytelling for Students

When students share stories, they invite others into their lives. They offer a glimpse into who they are and where they come from. By telling stories, students learn how knowledge is interconnected across generations. Students realize the importance of their voice as a means to sustain and revitalize language and culture. As students learn about narratives from different cultures, they gain perspective about the uniqueness of their own culture and respect for diverse stories across the world.
